Gary Chase, appraiser
Gary started his appraisal career in Walla Walla, Washington in 1975 as a loan officer/staff appraiser with then 1st Federal Savings. He started his independent appraisal career in 1979 in Lewiston. He has served the North Central Idaho and Southeastern Washington area since that point. He currently limits his single family appraisal practice to the communities of Lewiston, Clarkston, Pullman, and nearby areas. He continues to serve the larger area for income generating properties including; multi-family, office, retail, and residential land development.
Gary graduated from the University of Idaho's College of Business and Economics in 1972 with a bachelors of science degree in Management. His undergraduate studies included, economic geography, accounting, micro and macro economics, statistics, and marketing.
When appraiser licensing was introduced in 1991, Gary was in the first wave of appraisers earning the certified general real estate appraiser designation in both Idaho and Washington.
He is the membership chairman of the Lewiston Clarkston Multiple Listing Service and has served on the LC Realtors® board and as MLS chairman. He served as president of both the Lewiston-Clarkston and the Banana Belt Kiwanis Clubs. He is an elder of the Lewiston Congregational Presbyterian Church and was the Elder Commissioner to the 217th General Assembly of the PCUSA representing the Inland Northwest Presbytery.
